Carlos Martinez has an impressive career marked by extensive experience in the technology sector. He has held executive positions in Fortune 500 companies, such as Intel Corporation, Compaq, and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). Over his 30+ years of experience, he has served in various significant roles, including Global Director of Strategy and Planning, General Manager for Africa, and Global Director of Business Development at Intel Corporation, showcasing his expertise in developing global markets.

Currently, Martinez is the CEO of Consultia Business Travel, a position he has held since March 2021. Under his leadership, Consultia Business Travel has pioneered the first SaaS, Destinux®, which digitizes travel management processes and provides a personalized advisory service known as Personal Travel Assistant. This innovative approach has enabled companies to manage business travel more efficiently while offering travelers personalized services when needed.

In addition to his role at Consultia Business Travel, Martinez is an active member of the International Advisory Board (IAB) at CEU Foundation in Spain and serves as an advisor for startups.
