Innovation in the audiovisual industry to have its own forum at VDS

Innovation in the audiovisual and entertainment industry will have its own forum at VDS, one of the most important international technology events in Southern Europe, making Valencia a global hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment. The ‘Next-Gen Audiovisual Forum’, jointly promoted by GELLIFY and Startup Valencia, will bring together prominent international experts, major corporations, and the most disruptive startups to discuss, explore, and share knowledge on the most relevant topics in innovation and technology in the audiovisual and entertainment industry.

A forum dedicated to innovation and trends in Audiovisual, Media & Entertainment will take place on October 23 and 24 at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. It will provide an analysis of how this industry has transformed in recent years, the new ways of consuming content, and a vision of the sector’s future, among other topics.

Innovation and trends at the center of the debate

For two days, the Audiovisual Stage at VDS, developed in collaboration with GELLIFY, a global innovation company assisting businesses in their transformation processes, will be the epicenter of technological innovation in the audiovisual and entertainment sector. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore how OTT technology is revolutionizing content consumption, discover the impact of artificial intelligence and automation in video production and editing, understand how technology is changing user interaction with sports and entertainment, and dive into the world of immersive videos, among other topics.

The forum is supported by the Generalitat Valenciana to position the Comunidad Valenciana brand as a global reference in audiovisual innovation. It highlights the reopening of the Ciudad de la Luz studios in Alicante, supports companies in the Valencian Audiovisual Cluster, provides opportunities for co-productions, generates new businesses, and attracts new shoots through the Valencian Community Film Commission.

Last year alone, this event organized by Startup Valencia generated an economic impact exceeding 12 million euros, brought together 12,000 professionals from 91 countries, 2,200 startups, and more than 700 investors with assets under management valued at over 30 billion euros.

The organization expects to break all records again in this seventh edition with the theme ‘Embracing evolution: Invest in the leaders of tomorrow’, focusing on technological revolution. A new addition this year is the agreement with GELLIFY, the global innovation platform.
