Mayte Bacete is an Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) with an extensive career in communications technologies. She began her professional journey in the R&D department of Uni2, the former Spanish subsidiary of France Telecom, and later advanced her expertise in companies focused on microelectronics.

She served as Director of Operations at Diseño de Sistemas en Silicio (DS2), a Spanish start-up specializing in chip design and electrical cable communication technology. In 2010, following the acquisition of DS2’s assets by Marvell, she was appointed Director of Marvell Hispania, a role she continued after Maxlinear acquired the company in 2017.

Currently, Mayte Bacete is Senior Site Director at Maxlinear Hispania and President of the Valencia Silicon Cluster since 2023. She manages global projects, including the integration of an Intel Business Unit into Maxlinear, and actively promotes the semiconductor sector in Spain and Europe.
