With over 20 years of experience, he has successfully identified and developed new business opportunities across various sectors, including consumer goods, manufacturing, and utilities. His global and customer-centric approach has been pivotal in driving high-performing teams and achieving strategic business goals.

At Bacardi, Jesus Checa has made significant contributions by establishing a Digital Hub from the ground up, which now comprises over 40 professionals and collaborates with global partners. With an annual budget exceeding $15 million, he has spearheaded the launch of more than 10 digital products and solutions, transforming ideas into scalable projects. His leadership roles at Bacardi include positions such as Digital Factory Leader and Digital CTO, culminating in his current role as the Senior Director of Strategy and Disruptive Innovation.

In addition to his work at Bacardi, Jesus serves as an Advisory Board Member at EAE Business School. His career also includes key leadership roles at companies like Celsa and Agbar. His journey at Bacardi began in 2013, where he initially led the PMO/CIO Office supporting the global SAP program, later transitioning to roles focused on digital innovation and corporate strategy. Jesus Checa’s professional trajectory is marked by his ability to drive digital transformation and strategic initiatives, making him a valuable asset in the business and academic communities.
