Fundación LAB Mediterráneo

Fundación LAB Mediterráneo is a private foundation launched by the Asociación Valenciana de Empresarios (AVE) with the mission of positioning the Valencian Region as a national and international benchmark in innovation, technology, research, and entrepreneurship.

Firmly believing in the transformative power of knowledge and enterprise, the Foundation brings together leading figures from the business, academic, and scientific communities through a Board of Trustees made up of 22 key companies and institutions from the regional ecosystem. This cross-sector alliance allows Fundación LAB to serve as a strategic platform for connection, dialogue, and the co-creation of solutions to boost the region’s competitiveness.

Its work is structured around four strategic pillars:
1. Promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
2. Driving technology as a lever for productivity and competitiveness.
3. Projecting the Valencian business and scientific ecosystem globally.
4. Attracting and retaining talent in the region.

Fundación LAB acts as a catalyst for change, designing and launching high-impact initiatives such as Mentoring Ilimitado, Retos LAB, and international missions to global innovation hubs. It also produces evidence-based knowledge through its Innovation Observatory, offering data and insights to support decision-making in both the public and private sectors.

With an agile structure and collaborative mindset, Fundación LAB Mediterráneo connects entrepreneurs, researchers, business leaders, and institutions to mobilize collective intelligence and build a more innovative, competitive, and inclusive future for the Valencian Region.
