Bart is an economist who did his thesis on venture capital and started working in venture capital based on that. He later moved to public private partnership, complex real estate projects and policy making and started in 2017 with the Maritime Campus Antwerp concept, building a community on innovation in maritime which now cumulates into be a general partner Ninepointfive Tidal, a new corporate backed venture capital fund in maritime/ports/offshore, fundraising for €75M-€100M.
