Chema Blasco, born in Zaragoza, holds a double degree in Economics and Business Studies. Since 2008, he has served as a Spanish Civil Servant, specializing as a State Economist and Trade Specialist. His early career included directing the Export Credit Area (2009-2013), where he supported Spanish companies in their international expansion.

From 2014 to 2015, Blasco was Director for Projects at Invest in Spain, focusing on attracting foreign investment. He then served as Spanish Trade Commissioner in Israel (2015-2018) and Singapore (2018-2021), promoting Spanish business interests and fostering bilateral trade relations.

Since 2021, Blasco has been Executive Director at ICEX, leading initiatives to scale the Spanish tech ecosystem and positioning Valencia as a hub for internationalization. His leadership continues to inspire innovation and global engagement within Spanish industry.
