UPV EcoMarathon

The group’s main objective is to design and manufacture ultra-high efficiency prototype vehicles for use in the annual competition named Shell Eco-marathon, organised by the Dutch oil company Shell throughout the world.
With our prototype we have been participating for the last 20 years in the internal combustion category using bio-ethanol as fuel to obtain the highest efficiency and lowest fuel consumption, beeing our current record 1294 km/l.
