Opentop opens call for startups to participate in PEIC 2025 International Congress

Opentop, the innovation hub of Valenciaport, has officially opened its call for startups, scale-ups, and tech SMEs interested in participating in the 3rd edition of the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress (PEIC), to be held on October 22nd at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, as part of VDS.

PEIC 2025 is now established as one of the leading international events in open innovation within the port-logistics sector, bringing together startups, industrial companies, investment funds, members of the Port Innovators Network (PIN), and other key players in the port entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The call aims to select 20 technology-based and/or innovative projects with international scaling potential that can offer transformative solutions to the challenges of the port-logistics industry.

Selected startups will pitch on the PEIC stage in front of industry leaders and key stakeholders; participate in Opentop’s exhibition area, open to the wider port-logistics community; and gain access to exclusive networking sessions and high-value visibility opportunities within the sector.

Interested startups must apply through the Opentop website before July 10th. The selected startups will be announced in August and invited to take part in the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress 2025.

This opportunity is especially suitable for startups with a validated, functional and innovative product or MVP, early sales traction, and strong growth potential. Priority will be given to projects aligned with sectors such as blue economy, supply chain efficiency, safety and resilience, sustainability, decarbonization, and energy transition.
