Lorenzo Cotino Hueso is a distinguished legal scholar and educator, holding a doctorate and a law degree from the University of Valencia, where he has been a professor for three decades. He earned a Master’s in Fundamental Rights from ESADE in Barcelona and holds advanced diplomas in Political Science from UNED. In 2017, he was appointed as a Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Valencia.

His academic contributions are extensive, with 14 monographs and coordination of 26 others, alongside over 200 scientific articles and chapters, primarily focusing on privacy, data protection, and transparency. He has consulted on AI regulation and sandbox initiatives in Spain and has been the Director of Privacy at OdiseIA since 2020, contributing to the ethical and social impact assessment of artificial intelligence.
