Knut Schoenfelder is the Founder, CEO, and Managing Director of Tenacities, a company dedicated to pioneering a new security paradigm for future cities. With over 20 years of expertise in physical security, cyber security, risk management, and strategy development, Knut is a trusted advisor to architects and engineers on urban development projects, focusing on innovative security design for smart cities.

Knut began his career as a Navy Officer in the German Armed Forces, where he planned and executed military operations and graduated from the Admiral’s Staff Officers Course. After his military service, he led numerous customer engagements for the Risk Advisory Team of a Big 4 consultancy, further honing his skills in risk and resilience.

Prior to founding Tenacities, Knut served as Director Resilience for Saudi Arabia’s NEOM, where he established the initial security policy framework and initiated the development of the public safety strategy. His work emphasizes the integration of AI and innovative solutions for physical and cyber security in the built environment.
