Hello, my name is Claudia Severi. I’m a general health psychologist with a strong social vocation. Since the beginning of my career, I’ve been convinced that psychology must serve those who need it most.
I volunteer with Psychologists Without Borders, supporting women in vulnerable situations from a feminist perspective—an experience that has deeply shaped how I understand psychological work: with commitment, empathy, and social awareness.
I’m driven by curiosity, critical thinking, and the desire to contribute something meaningful. That’s why I’m also part of the Mendel Brain team, where we work to develop genetic tools that can improve mental health diagnostics.
For me, what truly matters is ensuring that science doesn’t stay in the lab—but reaches people and helps them live better lives.
