Chris Broad holds a Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton and an MBA from INSEAD. He spent 29 years at Apple in senior sales and marketing roles, reporting to the European GM in Paris and London. During his tenure, he was responsible for European Channel Strategy, pricing, and compensation, and he created the Apple Premium Reseller Program, now with around 1,000 locations worldwide.

For the past decade, Chris has been an active angel investor, building a portfolio of over 20 companies, with a strong focus on deep tech. He is passionate about fostering university spinouts and believes that a thriving ecosystem—especially one rich in talent—is essential for their success.

Now based in Valencia, Chris is dedicated to helping the city realize its potential as a hub for innovation. He advocates for policies and initiatives that attract and retain talent, emphasizing the unique challenges and opportunities of deep tech ventures.
