Mag. Martin Posset is a distinguished expert in sustainable logistics and intermodal transport. After earning his degree in International Business Administration and completing a practice-oriented diploma thesis with Car Rail Logistics GmbH in 2004, he became an external lecturer for Intermodal Transport at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, in 2012. He has contributed significantly to the field, co-authoring the Green Paper “Sustainable Logistics in Urban Areas” in 2014.

In 2017, Posset was appointed Chief Innovation Officer at thinkport VIENNA, a leading logistics innovations hub. He has played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between startups, corporates, and policymakers to scale innovative solutions. Since 2020, he has orchestrated Community creates Mobility (Ccm), promoting fair mobility, and published the book “Intermodal Transport Europe.”

Since 2025, Posset has served as CEO of thinkport VIENNA and as a member of the stakeholder board of “Logistics 2030+,” a cross-border initiative between Lower Austria and Vienna. He is also the content leader of the Forum Green Logistics and chairs the Pacemaker Award jury, driving sustainable and collaborative logistics innovation across Europe.
