Rita Salavert holds a Degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). During her final year, she founded her first startup in the digital sector through the “UAB Emprèn” programme, marking the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey. She later expanded her experience in the gaming industry, participating in leading Spanish incubators such as SeedRocket, Barcelona Activa, and Lanzadera.

Following her entrepreneurial ventures, Rita joined a digital company in Barcelona, where she gained expertise in digital transformation and innovation management. She provided consultancy services to startups, SMEs, and corporates across diverse sectors, including mobility, retail, health, and banking. In 2021, she became Operations Executive at The Collider, a technology-based venture building program, bridging the gap between science and business.

Currently, Rita is part of the Tech Transfer team at the MWCapital Foundation. She supports scientific teams in validating the commercial potential of their research, facilitating successful technology transfer. Her work includes sharing real-world tech transfer success stories and addressing the key challenges faced by public tech transfer programmes.
