He holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Master’s in Banking Management from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and has completed an Executive Program in Management and Leadership at HEC Paris. His academic background supports his strategic approach to banking.

Throughout his tenure at Banco Santander, Javier has held key leadership positions, including Branch Manager, Area Director, Commercial Director, and Head of Corporate Banking for Santander Spain. He is recognized for his strategic vision, client orientation, and commitment to innovation, driving digital transformation and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives in the regions he leads.
