Bernat Adrià bridges the worlds of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and digital transformation, bringing over a decade of experience across science, technology, and public policy. His work spans energy transition, climate action, and smart mobility, connecting data with impact to turn complex challenges into actionable solutions. With a foundation in analytical thinking and strategic vision, he is dedicated to transforming innovation into tangible public value.

His journey began in research, collaborating with leading U.S. universities and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. Bernat has since managed and supported European innovation projects focused on AI, the environment, and smart cities, including initiatives like CitCom and EDIC on LDT towards the Citiverse. He emphasizes robust ecosystem engagement, leveraging data-driven insights to align solutions with sustainable urban development.

In recent years, Bernat has played an active role in shaping the AI and Smart City landscape through participation in key networks at local, national, and international levels.
