Marta Pascual Estarellas is the CEO of Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, a full-stack quantum computing company based in Barcelona pioneering hybrid digital-analog quantum platforms. Qilimanjaro focuses on on-premise deployments in HPC and research centers and on democratizing access of quantum computing through their Quantum-as-a-Service (QaaS).

Before joining Qilimanjaro, Marta held an academic position at the Global Research Center for Quantum Information Science at the National Institute of Informatics in Tokyo. She earned her PhD in Physics at the York Centre for Quantum Technologies (University of York, UK).

Her multidisciplinary background spans chemistry, physics, and computer science: a BSc in Chemistry, MSc in Physical Chemistry, an inter-university European Master’s in Theoretical Quantum Chemistry and Computational Modelling, and studies toward an Engineer’s Degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Computer Architecture and Networks.
