Martin Paas is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience in risk management, security, intelligence, and cyber issues. His distinguished career includes serving as Director General of the Diplomatic Security Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and as CISO of the National Cyber Security Centre.

Before joining Telia Estonia as Head of SOC, Paas played a pivotal role in shaping Estonia’s cyber defense strategies, particularly in the aftermath of the 2007 cyber attacks. He is recognized for implementing lessons learned from these incidents, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of international relations.

At Telia Estonia, Paas focuses on providing Security Operations Centre as a Service to B2B clients, while actively working to raise cybersecurity awareness. His forward-looking approach continues to inspire innovation and resilience in the evolving digital landscape.
