Taavi Kotka is a renowned serial entrepreneur, angel investor in several unicorns, and the first Chief Information Officer for the Government of Estonia. As a pioneer of e-Estonia, he played a pivotal role in transforming Estonia into the world’s most advanced digital nation and co-founded the groundbreaking e-Residency program.

Recognized globally for his vision, Taavi was named among Apolitical’s World’s 100 Most Influential People in Digital Government (2018) and European CIO of the Year (2014). He previously served as CEO of Nortal, one of the Baltic region’s largest software companies, and advised the European Commission on digital identity and e-governance.
