Francisco Muro is a highly motivated and dedicated professional with a background in Telematics Engineering. He finished his Bachelor’s degree in 2021 and his dual Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering and Telematics Engineering in 2023. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Málaga, in which a research stay at DLR played a significant contribution for the development of the Thesis.

Throughout his academic journey, Francisco has gained inter-disciplinary hands-on experience through his internship at InnovaSur, where he contributed to the development of an IoT infrastructure. Additionally, he has been working as a researcher for the MOBILENET group at the University of Malaga since 2020. In this role, his primary research focus is on exploring new generation mobile networks, especially their integration with Non Terrestrial Networks and new virtualization technologies.

As another cornerstone, Francisco presents a special interest in other emerging technologies, such as quantum technologies, in which has already started some self-studying activities.
