The latest edition of VDS confirmed Valencia’s role as an essential meeting point for global tech debate. During the international tech event, startups, scaleups, investors, corporates and industry leaders shared insights and experience around the challenges redefining the present and future of innovation.Among the central themes was the real impact of artificial intelligence and advanced data exploitation, not only as technological levers, but as key elements in building solid and scalable AI business models. The different sessions focused on how to compete strategically in a global environment marked by speed, complexity and growing market demands.

Among them, a standout conversation featured Pablo Gil, co-founder & co-CEO of PropHero Spain, and Álvaro Martínez, CEO of Luzia, two companies operating at very different ends of the market but united by a shared premise: using technology to simplify complex processes, scale rapidly and generate real impact in people’s lives.

During the discussion, both founders shared how artificial intelligence and data have become catalysts for new opportunities and the foundation of new AI business models. In the case of Luzia, one of the most downloaded AI assistants in the world and a leader among young people in Latin America, the mission is clear: bring AI to the 80% of the population that does not work in front of a desk and ensure they are not left behind in this new technological revolution. With more than 70 million downloads, Luzia has demonstrated that the key is not only the technology itself, but eliminating complexity and building a relatable brand that users can identify with and trust.

For its part, PropHero applies AI and predictive data models to the real estate sector to democratise international investment and stay ahead of the market. Thanks to these models, the company identifies areas with greater appreciation and return potential, enabling client investments to consistently outperform the market average. Today, PropHero operates in Australia, Spain, Indonesia and Ireland, and has consolidated a value proposition built on speed, focus and data-driven decision-making.

Beyond the specific cases, the conversation delivered cross-cutting lessons for any entrepreneur, such as the need to think about AI continuously and the importance of simplicity in building user trust.
