Masinteligencia

Masinteligencia is a Spanish energy-tech company pioneering the digitalization and optimization of distributed energy systems. We provide end-to-end solutions across the energy value chain, from renewable generation and energy retail to the design and operation of Local Energy Markets (LEMs) and smart microgrids.

Our flagship platform, CELIA, operates as an Energy Management System (EMS) and Virtual Power Plant (VPP), enabling the coordination of distributed energy resources (DERs) such as solar PV, batteries, heat pumps, and EV chargers. CELIA is currently being deployed in municipalities, industrial parks and energy communities across Spain, providing real-time optimization, market integration and data-driven decision-making.

Masinteligencia is also the technical partner for several regional energy programs, including Zincaman (a network of 48 industrial zones in Castilla-La Mancha) and the Local Sustainability Launchpad in Castilla y León, where we support municipalities and small utilities in their transition to decentralized, resilient energy systems.

We are now expanding the capabilities of CELIA to participate in flexibility markets, including demand response and ancillary services, in line with the evolving regulatory landscape in Spain. Additionally, we are developing a digital twin engine to simulate and optimize energy flows, enhancing the value of distributed assets.
