Wayra

Wayra is Telefónica’s main open innovation program to connect Telefónica with the entrepreneurial ecosystem around the world. Its main goal is to connect technology disruptors with Telefónica to generate joint business opportunities. In 2018 Wayra was transformed from being a start-up accelerator into a much more complete project: a Venture Capital fund with a unique venture-client strategy that helps its start-ups to scale globally, offering them access to Telefónica’s network of 380M customers. Wayra offers a unique and seamless interface between startups, our network of companies, governments, and other partners, adding value to entrepreneurial ecosystems and driving innovation at Telefónica.
