Startup Valencia and ADMUNDI unite to support flood victims in Valencia

Startup Valencia and the ADMUNDI Association (Aid for Global Child Development) have signed a collaborative agreement to support individuals and businesses affected by the floods that occurred on October 29 in Valencia.

The main objective of this initiative is to raise and manage funds that will be directed toward direct assistance for those impacted. To achieve this, Startup Valencia will promote the support initiative within Valencia’s innovative and tech ecosystem. With this approach, they aim to maximize fund collection and ensure that help reaches all individuals and organizations in need during these challenging times.

ADMUNDI, in turn, will work closely with Startup Valencia to ensure that the funds raised are effectively allocated. Both entities will jointly decide on the use and destination of the collected resources, ensuring they are directed to companies, individuals, or other organizations impacted by the floods, with a commitment to transparency and positive impact on the community.

This agreement was signed by Juan Luis Hortelano, president of Startup Valencia, and Fernando Serer, founding partner and head of ADMUNDI’s Valencia delegation. Through this alliance, both entities reaffirm their commitment to the well-being and development of the Valencian Community.

As Juan Luis Hortelano states, “Given the serious situation in the flood-affected areas, any help is invaluable.” He noted, “The Valencian innovation ecosystem has demonstrated through numerous initiatives that it will contribute to rebuilding our province and collaborate in every possible way to provide effective assistance.”
