CEO, Ajax Biosciences
Alejandro Atienza Vicedo, born in Valencia, studied Biotechnology at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and completed his academic training with a master’s degree in Synthetic Biology at CSIC. During his studies, he gained deep insights into the successes and current limitations of biological digital twins and the broader challenges of engineering biology.
Motivated to address these challenges and make cutting-edge science accessible to industry, Alejandro founded AjaxDNA. His goal is to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and industrial application, thereby generating a positive impact on society. He has also worked as a junior consultant for Lufthansa Technik, Vickyfoods, and various biotech startups through the CDTM study program.
Alejandro is always open to discussing collaborations involving biological digital twins and the integration of AI with physical hardware. He is keen to better understand the structures of the pharma, agrotech, and biobased chemical industries, and continues to drive innovation through his ventures, AjaxDNA and Ajax Biosciences.
