Ana Peleteiro Ramallo is the Vice President of Data and Applied AI at Preply, where she leads the company’s global data ecosystem. She is responsible for enhancing data-driven decision-making and embedding AI in meaningful, human-centric ways to support Preply’s mission in education.

With over 15 years of experience in AI, machine learning, and data-driven product development, Ana holds an engineering degree, a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, and a master’s in executive leadership. Before joining Preply, she held senior data and AI leadership roles at Zalando, specializing in machine learning products for e-commerce.

Ana has received multiple awards, including Data Scientist of the Year by the DatSci Awards. A multilingual lifelong learner and sports enthusiast, she is passionate about democratizing access to high-quality language learning and currently resides in Barcelona.
