Ángel López is the founder of Sofistic Cybersecurity, where he served as CEO for 15 years and now holds the roles of CIO and M&A Director at the holding company Soluciones Cuatroochenta. With a degree in Computer Engineering and 18 years of experience, he has advised over 20 banks across Latin America on cybersecurity matters.

He has co-founded and taught postgraduate programs in cybersecurity at the Universities of Castellón and Valencia. His professional journey includes collaboration with incident response centers and government intelligence agencies, as well as the design of fraud prevention systems, AI-driven security strategies, and cyber defense frameworks.

Ángel is passionate about deep technology and cybersecurity, dedicating his career to making technology accessible and secure for all. As part of a listed tech company on BME Growth, he shares his experiences investing in startups and supporting authorities in the investigation of technology-related crimes.
