Bart Vuijk is a distinguished professional with a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from TU Delft. His career began at Siemens, where he spent 18 years in various roles, including product management, account management, and business development. His expertise spanned industries such as Cable TV, Telecom, and Mobility, with significant contributions in the Netherlands and Canada. Notably, he engineered the longest analog fiber optic backbone CATV link in the Netherlands and played a pivotal role in acquiring the first non-German client for a Siemens VoIP switch.
Following his tenure at Siemens, Bart joined TNO, dedicating a decade to senior international business development across Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. His focus was on Mobility, Automated Vehicles, and Digital Twins, securing the first TNO Digital Twin contracts in Singapore and the USA. His work significantly advanced the fields of electric vehicles and infrastructure resilience, establishing him as a leader in innovative technology solutions.
In his latest venture, Bart co-founded Scenexus, where he serves as Chief Commercial Officer. Under his leadership, Scenexus developed the world’s fastest integral urban planning digital twin platform, revolutionizing smart, sustainable, and livable city planning. His vision for thriving cities and infrastructure resilience continues to inspire advancements in digitalization and predictive digital twins, cementing his legacy as a pioneer in urban innovation.
