Davide Scorza, Head of Applied Research and Product Innovation Manager at Cyber Surgery, is a biomedical engineer with a PhD in Bioengineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan. Specializing in biomedical applications, image processing, and robotics, he previously contributed to Vicomtech in San Sebastián, focusing on image-guided surgery and robotic rehabilitation.

At Cyber Surgery, Dr. Scorza leads R&D initiatives in computer vision, machine learning, and robotic simulation, developing advanced algorithms for medical image registration, intraoperative camera calibration, and surgical decision support systems. His work is central to Cyber Surgery’s mission of advancing surgical robotics and automation.

He actively seeks collaboration with industry and research partners, recognizing the challenges and opportunities in the evolving medtech landscape, particularly in Europe.
