COO, LIBERA BIO
I’m a pharmaceutical scientist with 20+ years of experience bridging cutting-edge research with industrial impact in nanotechnology and advanced drug delivery systems. With a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology, I’ve led R&D initiatives across academia, biotech, and pharma, specializing in the development and translation of nanopharmaceuticals for oncology and other critical indications.
My early career included leading roles at ADVANCELL and Fenix Biotech, managing complex projects on biomolecule and small-molecule delivery. Later, as Research Valorization Manager at the University of Santiago de Compostela (MJ Alonso’s Lab), I focused on identifying and advancing innovations toward clinical application, managing partnerships with top-tier pharma, co-inventing six patent families, and licensing breakthrough therapies.
In 2020, I co-founded Libera Bio, a biotech company targeting intracellular delivery of biologics for cancer treatment, where I currently serve as COO. I oversee strategy, operations, IP management, and cross-functional leadership, driving innovation from lab to market.
Recognized among Spain’s Scientific & Innovator Women 2020, I also hold RTTP certification, the global standard for excellence in technology transfer.
Always open to collaboration, partnerships, and opportunities that move science forward and bring real value to patients.
