Emin Askerov brings over 15 years of hands-on experience across the energy value chain, distinguished by a unique combination of operational leadership, market insight, and strategic execution. He has successfully led projects and companies in wind and solar power, wind turbine and solar panel manufacturing, lithium-ion battery and BESS production, conventional power generation, and district heating and energy distribution.

His consulting expertise spans hydrogen, carbon capture and storage (CCS), solid waste, Power-to-X, circular materials, energy efficiency, electric vehicles, nuclear, and water and wastewater management. Emin has guided clients through the complexities of scaling hardware beyond the laboratory, emphasizing that crossing the “Valley of Death” for first-of-a-kind (FOAK) projects requires more than funding—it demands skill, teamwork, and leadership.

As CEO and Founder of Akari Consulting, Emin helps cleantech scaleups and investors transition from pilot and demonstration phases to full-scale deployment.
