Ester Davanzo is the Senior European Affairs Coordinator at France Digitale, Europe’s largest startup and investor association, representing over 2,000 members. In this role, she advocates in Brussels on key issues such as market access, financing, and scaling for startups and scaleups, and leads the association’s engagement with European institutions.

Ester is also a visiting professor at Sciences Po Paris, sharing her expertise in European innovation policy. Her previous experience includes positions at the European Commission and the French Ministry of Economics, where she contributed to shaping digital and economic strategies at both national and EU levels.

A strong proponent of the EU Startup and Scaleup Strategy, Ester champions effective implementation and a unified European industrial policy on innovation and tech. She regularly engages with high-level policymakers, including meetings with Commissioner McGrath and cabinets of Zaharieva, Séjourné, Virkkunen, and Von der Leyen, to advance measures that foster European champions and leverage public procurement for innovation.
