He holds a PhD in International Economics and Tourism from the University of Valencia and has more than 15 years of experience in tourism innovation, digital transformation, and smart destination project management. He has coordinated strategic initiatives at both national and international levels, including the certification of Benidorm as the first Smart Tourist Destination in the world under UNE 178501, the implementation of Smart Offices DTI, and the development of tourism intelligence systems for public and private entities.
Currently, he serves as Director of Innovation and Research at MTA Connect Association, President of Instituto Seda España, CEO of Inteligencia Turística S.L., and an active member of the CTN 178 Committee on Smart Cities, contributing to standards for smart ports, companies, and hotels. His career combines research, standardization, and the practical application of innovation and sustainability models in destinations, positioning him as a leading figure in the evolution of Tourism Intelligence Systems and collaborative governance.
