Jasper von Meien is the Port Strategy Manager at the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) and leads the Port Innovators Network (PIN) for homePORT, HPA’s innovation hub. With a career rooted in port strategy, innovation, and stakeholder engagement, he previously served as an External Affairs Consultant at the Port of Rotterdam and later as Business Development Manager at HPA.

At homePORT, Jasper drives international collaboration among leading port innovation hubs, including Esbjerg, Halifax, and Valencia, to foster a connected global ecosystem. His work centers on accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies and promoting best practices for cross-border knowledge exchange.

Jasper believes that innovation hubs serve as neutral platforms bridging public and private stakeholders, startups, and academia. By strengthening international ties and scaling successful solutions, he aims to move the maritime sector toward a more systemic, networked approach to innovation.
