With over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and investor, Javier Darriba is a prominent figure in the Spanish SaaS ecosystem. In 2008, he co-founded UserZoom, a pioneering SaaS company in Spain and a global leader in user experience management, which was acquired by Thomas Bravo in 2022 for over $800 million. His ventures, including The SaaS Institute and Harmonix, showcase his expertise in scaling SaaS businesses internationally.

As a Business Angel, Javier has invested in more than 20 B2B startups, such as Signaturit, Citibox, and Danelfin. He serves as a board member at Farside Ventures and is part of the Investment Committee at ESC Venture Capital, supporting companies like Cobee and Amphora Logistics. His strategic insights are highly valued in the venture capital community.

Currently, Javier is a General Partner at Encomenda Capital Partners, one of Spain’s leading seed-stage funds. He holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona, an MBA from ESADE, and completed the AMP at IESE.
