Jesús Prada Alonso is the CEO and Co-Founder of HORUS ML, a Spanish healthtech startup specializing in artificial intelligence for healthcare applications. He holds a PhD in Computer Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, along with dual degrees in Computer Engineering and Mathematics and multiple master’s degrees in bioinformatics and biostatistics.
With over twelve years of experience as a Data Scientist across various industries including aviation (Iberia Express) and MIT-based medical startups, Jesús has focused specifically on healthcare AI since 2018. He founded HORUS ML in 2022 to develop innovative machine learning solutions for clinical practice with real-world impact.
As CEO, he leads the company’s product development, business strategy, and technological vision while actively representing HORUS ML at major industry events including Mobile World Congress, South Summit, and Web Summit. Under his leadership, the company has gained recognition in Spain’s startup ecosystem, receiving selection for prestigious programs like 4YFN Awards 2025 and establishing strategic partnerships across national and international markets.
Jesús has established HORUS ML as a thought leader in healthcare AI through extensive media presence on platforms like RTVE and creating the “Diagnóstico IA” podcast, positioning the company at the forefront of AI innovation in Spanish healthcare technology.
