Josep Garcés, Founder & CEO of MusicMoon, is a pioneer in merging music with AI and blockchain technology. An accomplished musician and engineer, Josep began his entrepreneurial journey with LiveLoop, software for live music performance and fast composition. This innovation led to the creation of MusicMoon, a blockchain-based platform that decentralizes the creation, distribution, and monetization of music via NFTs.

MusicMoon enables artists to create their own personalized DAOs to engage and govern their community and fans, fostering direct artist-fan connections and community-led decision-making. Under Josep’s leadership, MusicMoon won first prize at the Polkadot Global Series hackathon in Seoul and the Tron Hackathon. Additionally, MusicMoon has been awarded several grants to deploy on blockchains including Moonbeam, Allfeat, and Unique Network.

Currently, MusicMoon is being developed on multiple blockchains and is preparing a token launch to interconnect all its platforms across different blockchains. Josep’s vision is to provide artists and labels with more control and fair compensation, offering a platform where musicians have full control over their compositions and direct engagement with their fans.
