Laura Urquizu is the President and CEO of Red Points, a leading technology company in Spain and a recognized startup in Europe. Under her leadership over the past decade, Red Points has developed an advanced artificial intelligence solution to combat online fraud, including counterfeiting, illegal content, and identity theft. Her strategic vision has positioned the company as a pioneer in addressing internet infringements.

Laura’s influence in the European technology industry is well acknowledged. She has been consistently listed among the “50 most influential women entrepreneurs and investors” by EU-Start-Ups in 2018, 2019, 2024, and 2025. In 2019, she was awarded the best CEO in Spain in the Start-Up category by AED. Her global recognition continued with accolades from Forbes and Business Insider in 2020, and in 2021, she was named among the top 50 global CEOs of SaaS companies.

Before Red Points, Laura held key roles at Arthur Andersen, Caja Navarra, and CAN Corporación. She led the Technology and Media division at Caja Navarra and managed the Eurecan venture fund. Her board memberships and advisory roles in European tech startups, along with her involvement in the Cercle d´Economia and the Hermes Foundation, highlight her commitment to digital rights and innovation. Laura also founded the Global Legal Tech Hub and invests in various startups, showcasing her dedication to fostering technological advancement.
