Mike Davie currently serves as Vice President of Operations and Technology at the Halifax Port Authority, where he oversees key functions such as marine and landside operations, ensuring security, safety, and environmental sustainability. He leads emergency response efforts, ITS transformation, and cybersecurity, while driving innovation through the port’s living lab, The PIER (Port Innovation, Engagement, and Research).
Before his tenure at the Halifax Port Authority, Mike had a distinguished 32-year career in the Royal Canadian Navy. He held leadership roles in training, operations, and readiness, demonstrating his ability to command large teams and complex projects. His strategic mindset and leadership were further honed through his Master’s degree from King’s College London.
