Nicolas Garrido is the Director of the IVI Foundation and Director of Research Administration at IVI RMA Global Research Alliance. He earned his B.Sc. in Biology and Doctorate from the University of Valencia, receiving the Extraordinary Prize in 2002, and completed advanced studies in research methodology, science and innovation management, and project management. His post-graduate research fellowship was at Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Dr. Garrido served as Director of the Andrology Laboratory and Sperm Bank at the IVI University Institute in Valencia (2000–2016) and led the IVI Teaching Program and Learning Center. As Adjunct Professor at the University of Valencia, he has directed numerous research projects on male infertility, sperm physiology, and ART success metrics, and co-directs several master’s programs in human assisted reproduction.

He has authored nearly 500 abstracts, over 80 book chapters, and 240 scientific articles, receiving multiple awards from national and international societies. Dr. Garrido is a member of editorial boards, associate editor for leading journals, and has coordinated key professional groups, contributing significantly to the field of reproductive medicine.
