Noelia Rigoberto is a tourism professional with more than twenty years of experience in the design and management of public tourism policies, specialising in tourism planning and governance. She holds a Degree in Tourism and two Master’s degrees — one in Tourism Management and Planning, specialising in Tourism Governance, and another in Management and Promotion of Local Public Development.
Throughout her career, Noelia has led numerous strategic projects focused on developing sustainable tourism strategies and products across different destinations. Among her most notable achievements is the creation and development of the Benchmark Agrotourism Project in the Huerta of Valencia, recognised as a reference model for sustainable tourism in the Region of Valencia.
Currently, she works in the Strategic Area of the Tourism Department at Valencia City Council, contributing her technical expertise to the planning and implementation of strategic lines and action plans grounded in social sustainability, innovation and digitalisation. She plays an active role in key initiatives such as the Strategic Tourism Plan, Turismo de Barrios, and European projects including PID, Zentropy, and Fu-Tourism.
