Octavi Uya is the Founder and CEO of Woodea, a construction-tech company pioneering sustainable building systems using engineered wood (CLT & Glulam). Since founding Woodea in 2022, he has led its transformation from a general contractor to a productized design & build platform, delivering multi-family buildings with a focus on decarbonization and industrialized construction.

Previously, Octavi founded Nautal in 2013, scaling it into Europe’s leading boat rental marketplace before a successful exit via merger and acquisition by Permira-backed Click&Boat. His expertise spans scaling ventures, managing multidisciplinary teams, and leveraging technology to disrupt traditional industries.

Under his leadership, Woodea achieved €1M revenue in 2023 and over €3M in 2024, with projections exceeding €10M in 2026. The company has raised €2.5M in venture funding, delivered its first residential buildings, and secured contracts with top national developers, driving innovation in sustainable real estate.
