Pedro de Álava began his professional career as a manager at Clave Capital, a firm specializing in investments in emerging businesses. He is currently the founder and Managing Partner of SIDE CAPITAL PARTNERS, a company registered with the CNMV, where he manages two funds totaling 35 million euros. His work focuses on supporting technology and food tech companies, helping them achieve profitability and sustainable growth.

With extensive experience in analyzing business plans and negotiating mergers and acquisitions, Pedro de Álava serves on the boards of several leading technology companies, including Sepiia, Quibim, Kerionics, and Aerox. His expertise spans the growth tech, venture capital, and industrial tech sectors, where he is recognized for creating value and supporting Spain’s industrial champions.

Pedro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Valencia University (1997), an MBA from ESADE Business School (2000), an Executive MBA from EDEM Business School (2004), a Private Equity Programme from Saïd Business School, Oxford University (2015), and ADECA from Fundación San Telmo (2018).
