Sriram Giridhar leads startup scouting and manages both internal and external partnerships at HHLA Next, the venture building and corporate venture capital arm of German logistics leader HHLA. As Principal, he heads the investments team, supporting outstanding logistics deep-tech entrepreneurs who innovate at the intersection of industry and technology.

He actively engages with startup founders, specialist VCs, accelerators, and key stakeholders to advance the future of maritime and heavy freight technology. Notably, he led the lighthouse investment in Fernride, a company on track to become the first unicorn in autonomous trucks.

Sriram also manages HHLA Next’s international venture capital fund of funds investments, including Motion VC (Singapore), theDOCK (Israel), and Trail Mix Ventures (USA). He developed the maritime logistics industry’s most comprehensive startup ecosystem mapping, establishing a core strategic advantage for HHLA Next.
