Dmytro Voloshyn is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Preply, where he leads the company’s technology strategy and innovation roadmap as it reshapes the future of online language learning. With a deep-rooted passion for artificial intelligence, Dmytro has embedded AI at the core of Preply since day one. From building the company’s original machine learning systems for tutor-student pairing to spearheading its latest advancements in generative AI, he has been instrumental in positioning Preply at the forefront of educational technology. Originally from Ukraine, Dmytro began his career as a software developer and later transitioned into entrepreneurship. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and pursued doctoral studies in machine learning and AI before launching Preply.
