Thomas Roehrl is an independent advisor specializing in strategy, fundraising, and strategic partnerships for the energy transition. He is currently developing a platform to support startups, investors, and asset owners in scaling up, raising capital, and forging impactful partnerships to accelerate the net-zero transition across Europe.

Previously, Thomas was Head of Partnerships & Future Projects at the BMW Foundation, where he led initiatives in cleantech, impact investing, and sustainable innovation. He co-founded RESPOND, Europe’s first climate tech accelerator, built a centralized partnerships team, and managed investments in seven VC funds through a fund-of-funds structure.

Thomas serves on advisory boards, including GoodCarbon and OnePurpose Capital, and advises the Energy Resilience Leadership Group. He is recognized for advancing cross-sector collaboration and supporting cleantech scaleups as key levers for Europe’s energy resilience and transition.
