Jorge Marcos is a Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and holds an Executive MBA from the European University. He began his career in the telecommunications sector, working for a mobile communications operator before joining Nokia Networks as Product Marketing Manager, where he specialized in marketing and pre-sales of telecommunications equipment.

He later transitioned to the role of Product Manager in various technology startups, leading projects focused on the development and international launch of innovative technology products. His expertise in product management and market strategy enabled him to drive growth and foster innovation in dynamic environments.

A few years ago, Jorge joined RENFE, Spain’s main railway operator, where he managed the launch of TrenLab, the corporate startup accelerator, and later oversaw the group’s corporate innovation. Currently, he is part of the Innovation team at Fundación Valenciaport, leading Opentop, the open innovation hub of Valenciaport, and showcasing its activities at the Port Entrepreneurship International Congress.
